Soothes dry or irritating coughs.
Care Pholcodine Linctus is for symptomatic relief of dry or irritating coughs. It contains Pholcodine 5mg per 5ml. Pholcodine reduces the desire to cough.
Who can use this product?
It can be used by adults, the elderly (elderly patients should use with caution, not exceeding the recommended adult dose) and children over 12 years. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding do not use this product, unless advised by your doctor.
How to use this product?
- Take the solution by mouth. Take 1 or 2 x 5ml spoonfuls. Repeat after 4 hours if required but not more than 4 doses in 24 hours.
- Do not exceed the stated dose. Do not take with other cough and cold medicines.
- If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
